Novel - Personal Passion Project

A novel-in-progress set in both 1967 San Francisco Summer of Love and 2067 San Francisco during the 100th anniversary of the iconic Summer. The work includes themes of choice, reality, and technology, it is heavily inspired by authors such as Steven King, Haruki Murakami, Michael Chabon, and H.P. Lovecraft.
As someone who grew up in the Bay Area, I have always been fascinated by the influence Hippy culture has had on the area as well as the booming tech market that has evolved into the behemoth it is today. It has always been a dream of mine to write a novel and become a published author so this personal project of mine represents an attempt to fulfill this ambition that I began to take more seriously during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic.
